Iron Man is considered a world's greatest superpower even next to a being with the Odinforce like King Thor. It's implied Tony could still fight for a while even after the Thorbuster was destroyed by both him & Cap (who implies they'd both endanger people as collateral). Under the same writer in this arc, King Thor is injured by Wolverine & depowered by Strange, yet he seemingly still beats Thing & Hulk to death using primarily one Mjolnir-less arm, with ironically Cap coming closest to killing Thor while he was distracted.
