Spider-Man even while wearing his Spider-Man MK IV suit, didn't have good chances of surviving re-entry, with villains even saying he's not Thor, while Spider-Man himself was terrified thinking of how easily Iron Man could do such a feat, even saying in his head that he is no Iron Man & calling for assistance due to the inevitable suit damage and the massive amount of web-fluid being used in attempt to break Spider-Man's fall.
